LYMPHATIC KINESIO TAPING

Lymphatic kinesio taping is a great way to enhance and maintain your results after your lymphatic drainage massage and can assist with the movement of lymph for as long as it's applied.  It can be safely worn under your compression garments.

Taping works on a system of negative pressure, where the tape is placed on the skin in certain patterns, which causes the skin to lift slightly during movement.  This in turn creates channels for the lymph to move across, directing it towards areas in which your lymph nodes are intact or into larger lymph ducts for reabsorption.

It is useful for:

• Scarring, once the skin is healed

• Sinusitis 

• Reducing swelling post injury 

• Lymphoedema management

• Post liposuction surgery to assist with swelling reduction

I use the best quality lymph tape at the practice and it can be added at the end of your treatment in increments of $5 per application.  You can also purchase a roll for yourself at cost to use at each of your appointments.
